Cranberry Acres is home to one of the region’s most competitive Interscholastic Equestrian Association teams. Both our middle school and high school teams have ridden to postseason success, qualifying at Regional, Zone and National Finals. In 2024 Cranberry Acres IEA team was the Reserve Team Champion, as well as boasting a National Individual winner.
The IEA , a national organization consisting of over 15,000 riders in 11 Zones, enables riders who may not own their own horse to show competitively.
CAE currently has 30 riders competing in both beginner and advanced equitation divisions. In addition to their weekly private lessons, our riders practice as a team in group lessons. Regular season competitions runs from August through December, with the post season extending through April.
When the students aren’t competing, they participate in team building and fundraising activities throughout the year.
We are also the proud hosts of the Northeastern University Equestrian Team, which has won national ribbons and titles.
